  1. Fully Charged The Fully Charged styles itself as “the world’s number 1 clean energy & electric vehicle channel”, and has a huge following, with lots of bite-sized videos on many topics, although still mainly focused on electric cars.

There are many well developed ideas to help achieve a shift towards more active forms of transport.

  1. “Decarbonising Transport: setting the challenge”, Department of Transport, 2020 Is the Government’s plan for decarbonising transport is much more radical than many expected.

  2. Health Benefits of Walking and Cycling, National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) Discusses the medical benefits of increased walking and cycling.

  3. Gloucestershire’s Local Transport Plan (2015-2041) Shaping the way to 2041, November 2019 This report shows a big shift to acknowledgeing the need for change (compared to a similar document 3 years earlier). The report is much more in line with the need to decarbonise transport in the county.

  4. “Sustainable Energy without the hot air”, David Mackay, UIT Carmbridge - available online here. Professor Mackay’s book remains a key resource in trying to under sustainable energy options, including for transport.
